Black Bean Patties

Equipment:
Food processor or blender, heavy bottomed medium skillet, medium mixing bowl and mixing spoon.
Ingredients:
Directions:
- 1Process bread slices in a a blender or food processor to make coarse crumbs. Place in bowl, set aside.
- 2Process garlic and cilantro until finely chopped. Add beans, chipotle, adobo and cumin. Process until coarsely chopped and mixture begins to pull away from sides of the container.
- 3Add the bean mixture to the breadcrumbs, add the egg and mix well. Shape into four 1/2-inch thick patties. Cook in skillet over medium heat with a small amount of olive oil until browned and cooked through.
